Get to know the new IBEW International President, Kenny Cooper! IP Cooper started his IBEW apprenticeship in 1985 with Local 688 out of Mansfield, Ohio. By 1993 IP Cooper was leading the local as the Business Manager. After 3 terms, he went on to work out of Local 396 in Las Vegas and eventually found himself working for IBEW’s 4th District as the International Representative. IP Cooper has been an IBEW brother for 37 years, and he is excited to face the challenges of his new role and strives to leave the organization a better place for everybody.
